ECOMMERCE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT.
Design and Build worked closely with the founders of the circular swimwear brand Kōraru to transform their conscious message into an authentic digital experience designed to stand out from the crowd. With an emphasis on Japanese craft and design, coupled with material innovation, Kōraru is devoted to seeking a direct relationship with a growing audience of conscious consumers. The result is an elevated DTC eCommerce destination that articulates key brand values alongside an intuitive shopping experience.
ECOMMERCE FOR THE POST-HYPE CONSUMER
To deliver a site with staying power, we created a platform that communicates a meaningful message with optimal performance. To ensure a sleek and minimal path-to-purchase journey, inline editorial blocks, editorial-style imagery, and sub-category navigation within pages allow users to effortlessly move between categories without revisiting the mega menu. This coherent design coupled with Four Sixty app for the integration of user-generated content tailored to each product category ensured a streamlined user experience.
EMOTIVE IMAGERY AND INTELLIGENT DESIGN
Our designs were heavily inspired by the utility and function that sits at the core of the new Kōraru brand. Editorial imagery is featured heavily throughout the user journeys to promote an emotional connection between the customer and the product. We transform desire into demand with seamless shopping functionalities including integrated 'Quick Add' product tiles, embedded shoppable user-generated content, facilitated by Four Sixty, and contextual navigation of sub-categories within Product Listing Pages.
